"I was happy to learn that book two was about a couple I could see and hoped for in book one. I feel the story was well written as I’ve had some of the same experiences. When someone goes through huge life changes, it takes time to adjust. I was rooting for the couple to say yes to each other, but I also knew that it takes time to adjust after a lengthy relationship. The ending was just great, and I’m hoping there will be another book to see another happy ending."

Under a Blood Moon by Julie Thorpe is a scary, romantic story about werewolves. A young woman is kidnapped by a werewolf with the intention of becoming the mate of a werewolf named Alpha. The young woman refuses to become Alpha's mate. Instead, she prefers the company of Scar (Eric), another werewolf who she is attracted to. The young woman learns from the restless spirits of several children that Alpha is holding them hostage. The tale continues to develop with several twists and turns that I did not see coming. Each kept me on the edge of my seat, excited to read more.
I hope Ms. Thorpe turns this story into a full-length novel. It has serious potential. I'm wondering what happens between our heroine and Eric, hoping it's a happily-ever-after ending.
I give this one five out of five stars. The story is interesting, the plot moves along at a good pace. And the characters are fairly well developed. Kudos, Ms. Thorpe. Please turn this into a longer story? I need to know more!"
